Deborah Dubroff, CFLS
I practice family law because I find great meaning working directly with my clients on matters that deeply affect their lives. Having been divorced myself, I know how important it is to have a caring, competent, and effective advocate. I take my responsibilities seriously knowing that the results I achieve will have long-lasting effects. My practice is devoted exclusively to family law and I have the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to resolve legal matters so that my clients can move on with their lives. Due to my experience, knowledge, and expertise, I am a Certified Family Law Specialist with the State Bar of California. I am active in the following organizations: FLEX-COM (Bay Area Regional Standing Committee); Association of Certified Family Law Specialists; Alameda County Family Law Association (past Chair, past Treasurer); Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and California State Bar Family Law Sections. I also volunteer in the Alameda County Superior Court as a Family Law Settlement Commissioner. I received my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and my law degree at UC Davis. When not working hard, I enjoy hiking in the East Bay hills, Pilates, photography, and searching for the best tacos. Im passionate about public education, public radio, and public works of art.

I practice family law because I enjoy working closely with my clients during a time when they are most in need of caring, straight-forward assistance. I have been devoted to the practice of family law since I earned my license to practice law in California. I came to the Law Offices of Deborah Dubroff following several years of working as an Associate Attorney with one of the Bay Areas largest family law offices. There, I learned the ins, outs, and nuances of family law through assisting countless clients through their matters. I am excited to carry my experience and knowledge into my work with Deborah. I am a member of the Family Law Sections of Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and the California State Bar. Im a member of the Alameda County Family Law Association and volunteer in the courts assisting the court and self-represented litigants complete required legal forms. I received my undergraduate degree at UC Davis and my law degree at UC Davis, where I participated extensively in the Humanitarian Aid Legal Organization, Trial Practice Honor Board, and Law Student Association. One highlight of my time in law school was my advocacy for victims of domestic violence through the UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic. It was at the clinic that I developed my passion for family law and consciously decided it would be the field of law I would pursue. Ive never looked back. Outside of the office, I enjoy attending spin and yoga classes, trying new restaurants, and exploring all that the Bay Area has to offer. I am a fan of the 49ers and San Francisco Giants and love cheering them to victory with garlic fries in hand.
